BethAnne's Homage to Poetry

(and other things I enjoy)
HELLO!!

Welcome to my page!

I am a 22 year old student at the University of Minnesota
Twin Cities campus with about a year left to go.
It's a great feeling to know that I was wrong about my
prediction that I wouldn't graduate before I hit 30.
In my spare time, I read and write poetry, hence
the title of my page.

A poem inspired by T.S. Eliot
April, yes I agree
Lost dreams
More dissonant then any winter
I always will remember
That house
More a home
Then this cold heart
Home is a long way
From this cold heart
And a very short journey
Leads to death
I understand where
The hopelessness enters
That no words can possibly tell
All that I have left
Is numb
Winter numb
Summer oblivious
A great promise yesterday
Stone today, distance tomorrow
So this is karma
I wish
I was a fortuneteller
Then a saint
Your thoughts. . .
If you are an amateur poet or understand why I have a
squirrel on this page,

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!

E-mail me at the address at the bottom of the page.
